Fabulous, Erulise!! I loved *everything* about it: your awesome musical descriptions (seriously, I could almost hear it), the rapport between Henry and Maglor, all of Maglor's little quirks and reflections... You have done a seamless job of weaving Maglor into this historical context. I am pretty convinced this happened just like you described!

(A little OT, but, have you read The Seven Wives of Henry VII by Alison Weir? One of my favorite biographies, quite engrossing; your awesome story reminded me of that)
