Aaaalright. Today we have:
Fëanatics!: Fëanor wasn't nuts...
Here we come a-caroling: He sees when you are sleeping...
Women of Arda: Ivorwen
for Lyra. Thank you, Dawn!

Now to tackle the sketch of Fëanor's last stand for Draw a Character: Fighting. This is going to be epic.
(Epic fail, most probably. But a girl's gotta try... :P)

Well, the Helcaraxë piece was a horror because OMG SO MANY PEOPLE, but this one is worse. I mean, it's got Balrogs in them. Several. And battle dynamics. Oy vey.
Fëanor's helmet alone is killing me ATM. Of course I could say that at that point he no longer had the good sense to be wearing head protection, but if even I myself am not buying it, how can I expect that of anyone else?
(In my personal head-canon - head canon! lol! - Maedhros is actually not wearing a helmet in battle for a while. Just so the Orcs who might remember him from happy fun times in Angband will see his hair and PANIC. That's why Azaghâl eventually gives him the dragon-helm, because dude, you can live without a hand but you damn well need your head. It all makes sense!
Ahem. Rambling. Anyway. Helmet. SO COMPLICATED.)
