A Little B2MeM 2012 Meme Quiz Thing.

Answer in the comments or on your own journal.  (Mods, hope this doesn't count as spam--please feel free to remove if it does. :) )

1. Number of responses you generated (WiPs also count).

2. (You can also count up the number of prompts you answered, etc, but I'm lazy so I'm not going to do that.)

3. Favorite card?

4. Most challenging prompt(s) you answered?  Why?

5. Number you most wish had been called, but wasn't?

6. You're still going to write it, right?

7. Most fun prompt to write for?

8. What surprised you the most?  (About your own writing, others' writing, the prompts, the community, anything.)

9. Which of your B2MeM works are you most happy with?

10. Recommend a couple of things other people wrote that you found memorable.

Anything else you want to ask your fellow B2MeMers?  (Because you can't spell "B2MeMer" without "Meme.")

If you ever finish the Aredhel/Nerdanel femslash fic... what archive are you publishing at? :D

Oh, dear Lord... me, publishing? *blushes* I doubt I'll ever be brave enough to post my stories in any of archives out there. The quality of stories in Tolkien fandom is very high these days and nothing I'll write could ever come close to that. I mean, I can barely speak English! No beta can ever fix that. ;)

If I'll be satisfied with any of my stories enough to believe it's not a complete disaster, I might consider putting it on on my LJ. (there's very little chance people would see it there - thank goodness for that!) Aredhel/Nerdanel story will be finished, but not in the near future. The essay about Fingon the Suicidal should come first. And then there are all those stories about Maedhros, Fingon, Nerdanel, Fëanor, Aredhel... *sigh* I don't even dare to think about all the Boromir stories that were left unfinished.

And eee, thank you for the rec. ^^

Don't mention it. ;) It's an amazing story that deserves to be read.

Do put it up! :) The Silm fandom is so lovely and supportive, no one is going to laugh about you - and your English is fine, going by the comments. Says one non-native speaker to the other. ;) *hugs!*

The essay about Fingon the Suicidal should come first.
You already had me curious before, I'm even more curious now. Essays you'll post somewhere, surely?

Aww... thanks! You're way too kind.

And yes, that essay will definitely be posted, probably here on B2MeM. If all goes well, it should be done by the end of next week. I have another exam on Wednesday and then I'm through with the classes I'm taking, so that should give me more time to finish some things that were started last month - in theory. ;)

I'm going to echo Elleth. This is a very excellent fandom in terms of people as well as in terms of stories.

(Also, your English is way better than that of a fair amount of native speakers I've known in my day...seeing what some of my fellow college students write, I can say this confidently.)

Thank you. I'm very flattered.

As for fandom - I'm beginning to notice that. I'm really glad I was part of this year's B2MeM event and that I had a chance to get to know this other side of the fandom as well.
