Hi there. I'm better known by the name Lbilover, which is my DW and AO3 handle, and my passion is hobbits, in particular Frodo and Sam, and even more in particular Frodo/Sam. I've loved LOTR since I first read it nearly 43 years ago, although I didn't become a fanfic writer until after the movies came out and I stumbled into the world of online fandom. I'm more of a book than movie fan, but love the movies, too. I'm actively involved in fandom as a mod for the Tol Eressea community on DW (tol-eressea.dreamwidth.org) which is for lovers of Frodo/Sam and Sean Astin/Elijah Wood, and as the person in charge of the Reading LOTR Aloud project on LJ (read-lotr-aloud.livejournal.com), in which every other month we use LJ voice posts to read a chapter or two of LOTR aloud (we're up to 'The King of the Golden Hall' in TTT). One of my favorite Frodo/Sam fics that I've written (it also won a first place in the MEFAs) is Golfing Fever (http://archiveofourown.org/works/232100/chapters/354836). It's humorous, romantic and a mature, not explicit, rating, and has the somewhat wacky sensibility that infuses a lot of my stories.
