I'm so thrilled you noticed the seaming detail, because I'm quite happy with that. It actually began as an emergency solution to keep the silk from fraying on the inside, but I love the way it turned out! So - thank you for picking up on that!

Heh, I assume it's supposed to be a thistle! Definitely some kind of flower, though, because it's got leaves, too.
