What a bittersweet piece, giving us a glimpse into the lives of some of the dwarves of Thorin's later company! Bofur's feelings and thoughts are well understandable, and I enjoyed reading about him finding hope again. Witnessing Kili's birth was a nice glimpse, as well as the beginning of the relationship between the siblings, and the link you're creating between Bofur and his brothers and Dís' family.
