I'm glad Mirwain came across as a believable character, and the details were sound - mapping out how the women might be involved was very interesting. I do realize it probably wasn't Tolkien's intent in keeping the female characters well behind the scenes, but that doesn't mean I'm going to subscribe to making them unimportant. :)
