“Manwe, have you and Ulmo been playing with wind and water again?” Varda joined her spouse on the balcony of their home on Taniquetil, sliding her arm around the waist of his blue-robed hroa.

“Well, we started it, but… “ He gestured towards the lower peaks to the north that were  enshrouded with  towering clouds that flickered with lightning.  “We were designing snowflakes and making them dance with the wind, when Melkor decided to interfere.”  A long roll of thunder rumbled through the cold, snow-laden air.  “You know he’d hate realizing how much Ulmo and I are enjoying the show.”
