*blinks* Normally I don't read about Feanorians, let alone incest, but something about the hunting and the description here feels real, appropriate for two brothers who've been raised to weapons. I like one brother instructing the other in archery, which is something I don't often see written about (but then I hardly read Silfic). I can picture the scene, and the formal style works as well; it feels like a snapshot of Valinor and the Feanorians, not only the beauty but the brutality. I think you've captured that "savage beauty" in Maedhros very well, through his brother's eyes.
You do have some issues with present and past tense in here, though, which pulled me out of the story a little. :)
