I've had lots of fun envisioning Thranduil as a parent in these stories, so I'm thrilled you appreciated his characterization here.

The shape-shifter has been equally fun to bring to life! I think in some future story she must really wear down Thranduil and have her way with him. :-)

Thanks for reviewing! And my apologies for the terrible formatting. This is only the second journal post I've done and the first was two years ago on DW. I've forgotten everything I (very briefly) learned. None of the italics appeared in this story for some reason. And I spent two and a half freaking hours trying to get this exactly right. Oh well - I so appreciate that you enjoyed it anyway!
