The aspect of this story that stands out the most is the dialogue -- well, the various interpersonal interactions. Dirhael and Ivorwen definitely have a spark (even just talking, not dancing), and the three friends have a gentler chemistry. It's just all so very life-like! How can any dark foreboding compete with such energy?
