How exquisitely lovely, Oshun. I've seen so very few stories about young Elrond and Elros - though that could be a function of where I'm reading - it made this especially poignant for me.
I love your use of Yule as the vehicle for this story in both Ages and the provenance of Bleak Mid-winter being assigned to Maglor. I was very surprised to find Erestor in the story with Madhros & Maglor, but actually found it a very satisfactory answer for how Erestor ended up in Rivendell. I thoroughly enjoyed this interpretation of that relationship.
The contrast between the small hut and Rivendell was wonderfully done as well and still Elrond remembers that Yule with such fondness. Have to admit too, I really liked the way you portrayed E&E's settling in with the Feanorians.
