You have given us a wonderful story and filled me with a warm glow of happiness. What a great writer you are! I especially liked the simple celebrations with Erestor, Maedhros and Maglor, then the story led perfectly to Elrond's musings during a grander celebration many, many years later. Time changes much on the outside, yet in Elrond's heart nothing really changed at all - there are still the same feelings, even with the passage of time.

Dawn's illustrations complement the story perfectly :)
