Story: Extremely powerful to show us the contrast of ordinary family life and the gruesome tasks that led Sauron to the torture of his friend and later desecration of his body. Chilling to be given the insights, Sauron's justification, the reluctance of being "forced" to do those things to someone he loves, same as he wonders about how to attract or force his daughter to his side. His "love" is so warped by his lust for control and power, that it's frightening, because it's so utterly believable. Brilliant story!
Art: Fantastic. the lack of colour is absolutely in the mood of the story, and feels totally right. I lovee Mairon's expression, but my favourite must be the montage for the cliff scene. Stark lines, which are again, echo of the mood of the story.
