I really enjoyed this! Political fic is always so interesting to read, and I liked the reminder that elvish politics are complicated by long memories--of course Gil-galad, through no fault of his own, has difficulty getting people to trust him.

Celeborn was my favorite--he's stuck in the middle in so many ways, for pretty much his entire existence as a character. I love how perceptive you made him--he is diplomatic, and loyal, but he still speaks his mind.
