Thank you. I always thought Frodo would feel lonely after Bilbo died as, logically, he would outlive his uncle. When Bilbo was the only hobbit amongst elves in Rivendell he always knew there was the possibility of seeing other hobbits, but Frodo must have felt totally alone. I could just see that he would make such a good father figure, though, just as Bilbo did for him.
I like to think that Galadriel got letters from Celeborn, that the twins sent letters to their parents, and that Arwen sent letters and pictures of her family to the grandparents who would never know them. Such communications would have been far between - but I can see Arwen, in particular, keeping a yearly record and sending them in bunches whenever she got the chance. I'm really glad that you agree.
