I really like how you interwove all of Finrod's encounters with mortality together – it worked really well with the story you were telling. A lot of this was really sad, but Finrod with Bëor as he died really got to me – I think it was that line, "There is so much I wanted to show you! I would have taken you to the sea, Bëor. We would have listened to its song together…" – because ouch, that hit me right in the heart. But I also really liked the more hopeful feeling in the last scene, and the way Finrod immediately thought of Beren when he saw the Silmaril.
