I really enjoyed this--each of Finrod's friendships with mortals would have been moving all by itself, but the way you brought it together with Earendil's silmaril at the end was really powerful and added so much weight.

The way you tackle the difference between elvish and human perception of memory was great too--I really liked Finrod's conversation with Aegnor.
