Thank you very much! I like how in the Silmarillion, all the stories are connected, and the ending of one is a beginning of another. But I think that the moment of Eärendil reaching Valinor gives Finrod's story a closure. One more closure would also be ages later, with Finrod finding out how Aragorn helped to defeat Sauron with the ring of Barahir on his finger - a kind of revenge even, I guess...
