Aww, I loved this. It's an age since I wrote young twins, it was fun to meet them again. Liked the differences you made between them - so much more realistic than having twins who are a carbon copy of each other. Elrohir is precious and Dan is clear leadership material, lol. I'm guessing the story is based on the longer one you wrote for NaNo? Such a clever way of sharing a tale, letting us sit with the twins and listen to Erestor's retelling of that first year.

I also like the idea of them taking the name of the holiday brought from Gondolin and weaving it in with customs from other kindreds - very much how I see Imladris.
