The cat originally came about years ago, when I wrote a bit of fluff about Merry and Pippin giving Strawberry to Frodo not long after Frodo and Sam and Rose were living in Bag End. Later the four kittens were a part of the story "Testaments of the Past". I thought they'd be perfect for this prompt!

I loved trying to imagine a kitten's thoughts! It was a lot of fun.
