Oh, how beautiful and touching, and so sad as we know Arathorn II will only have a few short years with his only child. But I am so glad that Elrond was there for the birth! It's not often I see fics that acknowledge Elrond as not only Aragorn II's foster-father, but the foster-father of previous Chieftains. Of course, none came to him so young as did Aragorn...
