Oh, this was just perfect. Having Tom and Goldberry as two parts of the same makes so much sense, and having them in essence cast out to make their own way without having to declare fealty or alliance with any of the Valar is exactly what should have happened for these two. I really enjoyed the friendship between Goldberry and the princess, or as much of a friendship as an immortal and a mortal can share. Great story!
