This is really interesting. It's nice to know that Celebrian and Elrond were drawn together by a mutual love and books and learning, though it's clear that Celebrian's upbringing has been deeply influenced by Celeborn as well as Galadriel.

Also, I am always fascinated by first-hand accounts of events and I am glad that Idril decided to write of Aredhel's return, even if she did wait a long time to do so. I wonder what sort of impact her pov would have made in the writing of the history of Gondolin had it been known sooner.
