What a beautiful story to go with that beautiful song. I especially liked this part: Sam’s wisdom is based upon his appreciation that fair is fair, that right is right, that wrong is wrong, and that what must be accomplished will only be done if someone will step up and at least make the attempt to start, and then carry on step by step until it is finished. His wisdom is based upon his love of the very earth itself and of those who have earned his trust.

That's such an insightful description of Sam and what makes him special.
