I had to remind myself while reading this that it was NOT a non-fiction, historical book I'd borrowed from the local library but in fact a fantasy written by YOU.
ohmygosh it reads so right! so detailed! I could see the ink on the paper (probably parchment) and the stains and the mental images of lost barrels and letters both.
