They are, indeed, based on genuine ones - I'd forgotten to add that note and have gone back to do so.

I'm glad the idea of them jumping up and down on the bed making "appropriate noises" amuses you - as I wrote about the witnesses allowing them to close their bed curtains I could just hear Cwenhild suggesting that and it gave me the giggles, too!
