I liked this! I enjoy the way you write OCs, and Fingon's porter is no exception. I also like the idea that Maedhros would try to set the record straight a bit about the Easterlings. I wish I could read Maedhros's book! I'm thinking of it as being a bit like Herodotus, with all the digressions, though maybe that's slightly unfair.

I liked the detail of the porter having to rush to open the door before Fingon could burst right in--being Fingon's doorkeeper must be challenging at times!
