I know. *hugs* I just honestly hadn't realised that I've never for a second tried to find out what Tolkien ever said about Galadriel's part in the War of Wrath. So I can't even recall the clues about what she was doing, it's all firmly overridden by "BUT IT WOULD BE AWESOME!" Some scholar I am!
