Actually, in real life, I have a big fan of murder mysteries off and on since I was a girl. My parents read them constantly when I was growing up and kept permanent collections of all the classics of the Golden Age of detective fiction of the 1930s, '40s, and '50s. But I never read Icelandic murder mysteries. I will have to see if I can find any in translation.
