Thank you so much, my dear. Maedhros had a lot of experience with younger elves, being the oldest of seven in his family. He usually isn't portrayed as particularly motherly, but I think he would do just fine if needed. Both he and Maglor tried their best to raise the Twins and when it became too dangerous, they made sure to take them someplace safer.
