That was a fascinating dream that Carnistir had. My favourite line is a very provocative one:
We have been able to sense each other since you were a child
Indeed! I'd love to know more about Carnistir's ability to 'sense' Namo and vice-versa. I suppose it has to do with his ability to 'read minds'.
This, also, is very intriguing:
I am here to help you build stronger mental shields.
Somehow I get the idea that Namo considers himself to be Carnistir's friend, but Carnistir is very wary of him, even though he was just having a dream.
It would probably help me to read the earlier chapters of this story!
And this line is quite devastating:
Teach me then, Lord NĂ¡mo. I must be strong enough to protect my people and defeat Morgoth one day.
I've always felt so sad about the fact that he died. It never seemed fair - he should never have gone to Doriath. :(
