I really like how you've developed all this out of the original scene chapter by chapter. It's startling but quite satisfying to see Uinen taming Osse here, not by her feminine civilizing influence or the like, but by strength. Good that Nerdanel's message got delivered and that Maglor inadvertently did something for Uinen in return.
I also became quite fond of Eärlinno.
