I'm sure Amandil would try. I just don't think he could save everyone, and Azrahad might not entirely cooperate with his efforts.

But like I said, it's fine with me if you want to imagine Azrahad taking the next ship to Middle-earth, Elvish books and all. I'm not going to write about it either way, and you don't have to take what's in my head as "canon" (fanfic-canon, that is, which is already a step or two removed from real canon).
