Intercultural relations, by Starlight (Éowyn, Faramir, Éomer, Lothíriel)

B2MeM Challenge: O67 Canon Couples: Faramir/Éowyn; Forth Eorlingas!: Intercultural relations
Format: Drabble
Genre:
Rating: PG
Warnings: General silliness... I apologize. Could. Not. Resist.
Characters: Faramir, Éowyn, Éomer, Lothíriel, Imrahil's sons have a small part.
Pairings: F/E, E/L
Summary: Just how much did the ties between Gondor and Rohan need to be strengthened? I seriously wonder about this. ;-)

There are ways to do diplomacy, and there are ways. The White Lady of Rohan had always been a woman of action. So, when the whole city turned to see her entwined with the Steward in full view, there was little doubt in anyone's mind what she was doing.

Meanwhile, in Cormallen, her brother was sitting to a barrel with the Prince's sons, bemoaning his sister's refusal to come to him-- his particular brand of diplomacy was slightly more roundabout.

Naturally, when he asked the dark-haired Princess for her opinion, she declared, "I prefer your sister's way..."

Snort. Love this. That's it, Eowyn, cut to the chase!

Excellent response, Lothiriel. Count on a woman to cut to the chase...

I'm with Lothiriel here--Eowyn's manner is forthright and clear. Excellent way to get things done! But in the end Lothiriel got her man, too! Heh!
