Ohh, this is beautiful--what a great use of the prompt. I love the descriptions of the evolution of the garden and what it says about the people in charge of it and about Numenor at large (and how in spite of all the changes the door that leads to Meneltarma remains almost entirely forgotten and ignored). I especially liked the "assault of these colonizing plants from areas which Pharazôn had colonized."
