This was a wonderful read on so many levels, thank you for sharing it. I agree with Míriel, I much prefer a wildlife garden with native plants to the manicured sort and it made me smile in that wry, ironic way that Pharazôn's prized kudzu vines were taking over everything the same way Sauron did, if not nearly so stealthily and subtly as the maia.
