I love this. It is so moving and you manage to span a very long time period in a very short fiction. You do it beautifully. My heart ached for Elarien and I admired how she chose to go on and do what she could though there was so much more she wanted. The one I felt sorry for though was the Queen. She had to pretend for so long and in the end, she never got her dream. Lovely.
