The idea appeals to me. So many songs were lost in that destruction--but yes, they might well regret that one in particular.

In "Characters", you've chosen not to say "House of Beor" or "First House of the Edain", etc. I'm noticing that because I wondered whether you were also saying something about the attitude of the Numenoreans to the Sea, but then realized you actually seem to have avoided explicitly linking this to the Numenoreans.

Lovely and wistful. The notion of Middle-earth having been real is so strong in this poem, and I really loved your play with the idea of music being contained in the waters. :)
