I just love the tiny hints of green, and the brave burst of color in the flower--spring is on the way, but not all the way there as winter tries to linger.

It's rather like this winter, I find. It's much as our landscape is. I grew up with constant views of Mount Rainier and the Cascades and now live just north of the Olympic Mountains with aspects of Mount Angeles and Blue Mountain and occasional glimpses of Mount Olympus as well, so I loved putting some of my own beloved area into this picture, which must have been as the Fellowship saw things a few times along the way. Thank you so.
