Eärendur’s Souvenirs from the Downs (Arnor)

Eärendur’s Souvenirs from the Downs

Antiquities from the Golden Age of the Northern Realms  This is the stall for prompts set in Arnor, both unified and fractured (Arthedain, Cardolan, Rhudaur).

Comments are now closed but you can continue using the prompts; no claiming is necessary.

How to Post your Prompts:

Leave a comment with the subject line identifying the main characters, gen/het/slash/femslash/poly (if it’s not obvious), a brief description of the prompt, and possible warnings if needed (MPTTor SWG’s). The comment itself should be the prompt.

If for some reason you cannot make a subject line appear, please write and bold the relevant information as the first line of your prompt.

The subject lines and/or bold text will allow participants to easily scan for prompts they're interested in.

For example:

Subject line-- Frodo and Aragorn, gen, hurt/comfort at the Field of Cormallen
Comment-- While Frodo is unconscious after being rescued from Mount Doom, Aragorn cares for him.

OR

Comment-- Fëanor/Nerdanel, wedding night, sexual content

On their wedding night, Fëanor and Nerdanel end up not sleeping at all, as they are too busy enjoying each other.

Remember, no fanworks are to be posted in the prompts posts.

Goldberry and the Lady of the Blue Brooch, gen/femslash

After Tom Bombadil rescues the Hobbits from the Barrow-wights, he carries treasures from the barrow of the Last Prince of Cardolan, and picks a blue brooch to take home to Goldberry. His comments indicate that they knew the woman who bore it, and I'd love to know more about her, about the Cardolan culture of her time, how she met Goldberry and what their relationship was. Either gen or femslash would be great, and I'd prefer it if Tom Bombadil didn't come into the story too much.

Shiny indeed! This was a prompt I'd doubted anybody would be interested in, but sometimes it's wonderful to be proven wrong! :) I hope it's fun to write!

Long have I eyed this prompt from afar, but I didn't have a good idea for it until today when your post in b2memsupport prodded me to take a look at it again.

*buys* :D
