Thranduil & Wood-Elves, gen, feasting in the forest

In book canon for The Hobbit, the Wood-Elves feast in the forest, and magically disappear when any one of Thorin's Company sets foot into their circle. I would like to hear that part of the story told from the Elves' and Thranduil's point of view, especially how they pulled their disappearing act, and I think putting people to sleep at the same time, as well.

I'm not claiming this, but ever since I saw it, I have been hearing the subject line in my head, only to the tune of "Little Bunny Foo Foo"
