B2MeM Challenge: Smials by Dreamflower

Format: Colored pencils on drawing paper

Warnings: I don't consider myself an artist in any case...

Characters: Um...The smial? :D

Pairings: Smial/Kaylee o_O xD (Because I would love to live in a hobbit hole)

Creators' Notes (optional): This is a drawing (ish) of the smial I'd like to live in if I was a hobbit. I'm probably something like half hobbit anyway. Does that make this meta? I'm not sure what that makes this...

Summary: Kaylee Arafinwiel's Smial - a nice cozy little hobbit hole, with blue-curtained windows, a front garden (not yet planted), a fishpond (or is that Mirrormere O_O?!) and an apple rooftree :D And a birdhouse-post box, because I wanted one.

Oh Miss Kaylee, the mistress is over the moon to see pictures of her soon-to-be-new home. She loves that red door in particular and the apple tree is an especial delight, she can't wait to get into that spacious kitchen Morrows mentioned and fill up those pantries with fruit pies.

BBC Musketeers. Lots of leather! And hats. And boots. I'm a sucker for men in hats - and boots - and uhmmmm .... ::clears throat:: well yes, I must admit it - leather. And these guys wear it SO well! No hat for d'Artagnan, but I've loved every incarnation of d'Artagnan I've ever seen, so I'll take him even without a hat. He's still wearing leather. :-)

Hmmmm ... it occurs to me perhaps that's why I've always been partial to Aragorn and Legolas - it's been the leather!

I didn't want to copy Bag End, there was lots of blue in the picture already, and yellow seemed too bright for a nighttime smial somehow, so red won out! I think it coordinates well with the apple rooftree...at least that's what Janelle, my counselor said :) *happy at that*
