So happy to read these here. Just wanted to leave a note here saying how much I enjoy your writing and feel lucky that you adore writing Fingon and Maedhros. i can't get enough of these two! I am also moved by your inclusion of non-binary characters. In my own headcanon, I think the Noldor reflect the more rigid gender constructions of our own society as an influence of the Valar and all that. I think the elves of middle earth, especially the Green, the Silvan, the Avari, are not bound by the same views and have much more complex and diverse ideas about what the Noldor consider gender. Lovely stuff!!
