Sorry, But This Kind Of Mammoth Couldn' T Excist In Woodlands. It Is Absolutely Specialiced To Treeless Grasslands And The There Lingering Drie Cold.
But Maybe I Should Take The Painting Somehow AU , And Seen As Art, It Is Really Great...

Quite a challenge, such a complex scene and such rapid movement and the darkness of the background!
I think you handled it really well!

It was seriously challenging. I feel confident neither about dynamics nor about animals nor about a lack of "normal" daylight, so this brought me to the brink of despair! I'm relieved it turned out as well as it did. Thank you so much!

That certainly is a challenge and well-met! Love the picture. Love the idea of the Vanyar as hunters. They couldn't just sit around and sing songs and expect others to feed them. It's terrific to imagine an earlier reality than the role we read them playing in Aman.
It really is hard to paint a picture set in darkness--hard enough with words, but harder still on canvas. The Vanyar and their torches reflected by their hair really help with that problem a great deal.
Really a fun picture!
