I checked the entry, since you asked: There was one tiny tag formatting error, which is that the card tags should have no space between the colon and the card name (but it's easy to fix and I've already taken care of it). Otherwise, perfect! :) And I'm delighted that we have a post in the comm already.

I liked this fic! It's very sweet to see the family reunion and Elrond getting to be happy and surrounded by his loved ones.

I really liked the story! Parts of it were a bit lost on me as I don't know your 'verse, but I'd like to know more :) And I thought Celebrian's nickname was adorable. My Niniel (Celebrian's nursemaid and then chief lady-in-waiting, after being Galadriel's) calls Celebrian "Telpetari" which of course is just a straight translation. Yours was much more creative!

I'm so excited to see what else B2MEM will bring us!

Thank you! If you're interested, the DoC 'verse is largely to be found on AO3, with some of it scattered across the last few years of the twistedshorts LJ August Fic a Day event. (The whole 'verse started as a Fic A Day thing - a cross in which Joyce and Buffy from BtVS were Elrond's wife and daughter, and it just kept going... I need to sit down at some point and finally get ALL the stories from the LJ posted in some orderly fashion on AO3.)

I thought about having Eärwen do a straight translation as your Niniel uses, but I thought after two Ages of waiting to dote on her granddaughter, she probably had at least one and possibly several names stored up to use.

I'm excited too - everyone seems pretty enthused about bingo, so it's going to be fun to see how it goes now that we're actually 'playing'. :)

Thanks! I was happy to see that prompt today - it's nice to start out off on a happy note. (Especially if this winds up going like Fic A Day, where I close out the month with death and tears.)

It's a form of self-protection on Elrond's part - if you don't have expectations, you won't be let down.
