Summary: What's a little nudity between cousins?
After their morning riding up and down the Calacirya, Findecáno had tossed his sleeveless outer coat over an end-table and started removing his boots before he noticed Maitimo watching him with an odd intensity. He wondered exactly how undressed he could get before he provoked Maitimo's continued skittishness about their relationship.
He undid the ties at the sides of his over-leggings and let them hang there, like an unspoken promise. He definitely had Maitimo's full attention.
He slid his thumb underneath the sash that was holding the whole outfit together and slowly unfastened the elaborate knot at his side. He dropped sash and leggings on the floor next to his boots, then rolled his stockings down his calves and off his feet one by one.
Maitimo seemed about to say something, but only closed his mouth and swallowed instead.
Findecáno peeled off his outer robe separately for once instead of shedding it still stuck to the sweat-soaked inner robe; his mother would be so proud. Once he was clad only in only his unfastened inner robe, breechcloth peeking out from beneath, Maitimo finally looked away. “Finno…” he began, frowning, but then his gaze returned, the longing in his eyes unmistakable.
