Summary: Aredhel and Eöl get married
Aredhel had feared, in her youth, that she would have to forbid her mother from inviting half of Tirion to her wedding. In truth, the only witnesses to her marriage were the stars above a bower suffused with the perfume of night-loving flowers.
The pleasures of the flesh were not wholly unknown to her, but anticipation of at least one new experience left her shaking just a little despite the warm summer weather.
“Go on,” she whispered.
His hands, as always, were almost feverishly warm, the sensation delightful as they roved over her bare skin. He frowned, though, when she moved to liberate him from his clothing in return. These small moments of timidity never failed to surprise her, however often they recurred.
“Well, you'll have to if we're to do this properly,” she chided him. “Don't you want me to be your wife?”
He sighed and nodded and allowed her to undress him. She did almost feel as if she were being entrusted with some great secret as his shadow-lean frame was revealed to be all forge-crafted muscle.
He was hard already, and her own needy ache redoubled at the sight. She lay back and offered herself to him.
