What a marvelous conversation. I'm sure Aragorn remembered these lessons all his life.

A clear exploration into the crux of the matter - the balance of good and evil and the ability of how one small thing, in this case the movement of Feanaro and his people to Middle Earth, changed the balance forever. It's that "one feather can collapse the bridge" concept, and it is beautifully expressed.
