Summary: The verses about Aragorn in Gandalf's letter were written by Bilbo. This is a story about the relationship of the Ranger and the Hobbit, and the events that inspired each of those verses.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I'm glad Bilbo found the star, and I liked his comparison between the Dwarves wanting them on their ceilings vs the Elves wanting them in the skies above. And, of course, ending with Glorfindel and Asfaloth arriving at the crossroads to pick Bilbo up and take him to Rivendell. Yes!
